Matt & Kate

Kate and Matt met at a bar trivia night, hit it off, and made a date! They are such a fun couple and were really great to work with. They were married at the Shrine of St. Joseph and had the reception at The Coronado Ballroom. Both locations are grand and impressive, but Kate and Matt added their own sweet and quirky touches to make the day truly one of a kind.
From the beautiful ceremony to the charming cake pulls, the teddy bear toss for the kids, and the gorgeous centerpieces that Kate made herself, the entire wedding was personal and thoughtful. (Our favorite may have been the place card sign that said, “You can find your seating assignment here, but your place is on the dance floor.”)
Thank you Kate and Matt for letting us be a part of your very special day!

Matt & Tami

Tami and Matt are both from Texas, but it took moving hundreds of miles to St. Louis for them to finally meet. And we are thrilled to have the opportunity to capture their special day on film.
The wedding and reception was held at the Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, where a ballroom was transformed into a wedding dreamland. Soft lights and draping white curtains gave the ceremony an ethereal feel. Then the magic continued with showers of gold confetti and a white Rolls Royce taking the bride and groom to the reception, where gorgeous centerpieces and the stunning cake wowed everyone.
Congratulations Tami and Matt! It was our pleasure to be a part of your wedding day.

Steve & Natalie

She was “Cute Blonde Girl,” and he was “Yellow Shirt Guy” after both being tagged by a mutual friend in a Facebook picture. One year later Natalie and Steve met again and recognized each other from the photo. This reconnection lead to many laughs, a phone number exchange, and a first date. Four years later Steve proposed by singing and playing an original song on his guitar. He handed Natalie a homemade maraca so she could play along. But this was no normal maraca. Inside were the ring, ticket stubs, and notes that Natalie had written to Steve throughout their time together. After a trip down memory lane and a very sweet proposal, she said “Yes!”
With a proposal like that, this couple’s creativity is obvious. And their originality came through in the ceremony. Natalie and Steve were married at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in St. Louis, MO. The walls of the church are embellished with crosses and alpha and omega symbols. They were inspired by the design and incorporated it into their wedding logo. And Natalie made the gorgeous centerpieces for the reception herself!
Everyone at the wedding received silver bells to ring as the couple exited the church. So sweet! At the cocktail hour Landolfi String Quartet and Ensemble played pop music and classic rock, then switched over to the Beatles during dinner. Then CJ’s DJ played out the rest of a truly inspired and beautiful night. Congratulations Natalie and Steve!

Anthony & Jennifer

Jennifer and Anthony were high school sweethearts but went their separate ways in college. A few years and one lunch date later, they were back together for good. Anthony used a sneaky “I’m-out-of-gas” trick to get Jennifer to meet him at a playground where he proposed. Jennifer said, “I was so mad the whole way there because I had to leave the gym to get him.” But all was forgiven when she realized what was happening.
Jennifer and Anthony’s wedding ceremony was held at the elegant Sheldon Concert Hall in midtown St. Louis. The beautiful interior served as a great backdrop for the ceremony. We loved the unique details they incorporated, like their friend’s string quartet. And Jennifer used lace from her mother’s wedding dress in her bouquet. It was stunning. Everything was perfect – from their moving vows to the tender moments between Jennifer and her dad.
The love and support from the wedding party and all their friends and family was a special thing to see. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed cocktails before the bride and groom made their entrance. There were some tears and plenty of awesome dance moves. At the end of the night we went to the rooftop with Jennifer and Anthony to get a few final shots. It was such a beautiful moment to look out over the city. Thanks Jennifer and Anthony for allowing us to capture your wedding day on film. We’re honored to have been a part of it.

Ron & Lori

Just as the weather was getting cold in November, we packed up all of our gear and ventured south to sunny Mexico for our first Destination Wedding! The festivities took place at the beautiful Azul Sensatori Hotel. Lori and Ron are a wonderful couple and their beach wedding was beautiful! We are in love with the scenery, mariachi band, and the love shared between the two of them!
How they met (according to the bride): “A chance encounter and a courageous ask for a phone number in 2008 on Lori’s birthday would set in motion an incredible relationship ending up in marriage after five and a half years of living life together. We both are passionate about life and have adventurous spirits so it only made sense for us to tie the knot during a destination wedding in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.” We hope you enjoy their highlight video as much as we do!

Robert & Amanda

Amanda & Robert were married at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson, MO. After the ceremony we were off to a photo session, it was misting rain, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the party! The reception was filled with family and friends that were excited to celebrate the day! Robert & Amanda’s connection and love for each other is captured beautifully in their Highlight Film!

Angelo & Melissa

It’s always a good time when I get to shoot a wedding for a friend! In this case, Melissa & Angelo were going to have a two day, two city affair! It started on Friday with a ceremony and reception close to Melissa’s hometown of Freeburg, Illinois. The following day a 2nd reception was held in Angelo’s hometown of Schaumburg, Illinois. With many of Angelo’s family unable to attend the ceremony on Friday, they asked us to produce a next day edit focusing on their vows to play at the 2nd reception. We couldn’t be happier with how the Film came together!
